30FMT2-CT trace heating cable

Raychem 30FMT2-CT constant wattage parallel circuit trace heating cable is mostly used for temperature maintenance of pipe, tanks or vessels which are subjected to steam cleaning. It may also be used in a variety of industrial applications for process temperature maintenance up to 150°C. It may also be used for frost protection of large pipes and applications requiring high temperature exposure capability. Its unique geometry provides excellent flexibility during installation and a PTFE insulation tape layer acts as a shock absorber protecting the heating element from shear stress during flexing. The Raychem 30FMT2-CT is a zone parallel heating cable constructed from a heating element wrapped around two parallel conductors. The distance between the conductor contact points forms the heating zone length. The parallel construction allows Raychem 30FMT2-CT to be cut to length and terminated in the "field" during installation. Raychem 30FMT2-CT offers an economical alternative to our Raychem BTV, QTVR, XTV and KTV self regulating trace heating cables but does require more attention during installation and advanced control and monitoring systems.
