Raychem 15VPL2-CT power limiting parallel circuit trace heating cable is suitable for use in Atex hazardous areas,  mostly used for temperature maintenance of pipe, tanks or vessels requiring high power output and may be subjected to steam cleaning. It may also be used in a variety of industrial applications for process temperature maintenance up to 200°C. It may also be used for frost protection of large pipes and applications requiring high temperature exposure capability. 15VPL2-CT may be overlapped once, cut to length and terminated on-site, which simplifies electric heat tracing designs for complex piping systems. Installation times are reduced due to state-of-the-art connection kits. When used in hazardous areas the temperature classification is established using the principles of stabilized design or by using a temperature limiting.
