  • nVent RAYCHEM self-regulating cable

    Self regulating heat trace cables used for frost protection, ice prevention and many heat maintenance applications in construction for larger buildings and industry hazardous area locations. nVent RAYCHEM self regulating trace heating cable automatically adjusts the power output to compensate for temperature change resulting from heat loss, primarily through conduction. Over 500,000 km of Raychem self regulating heat trace heating cables are now installed successfully worldwide, offering proven and reliable electric heat trace systems.

    Benefits of nVent RAYCHEM self regulating heat tracing cables;

    • simplified design in hazardous area
    • energy saving, lower operating costs
    • unconditional temperature classification
    • fast, easier install, cut to length
    • state-of-the-art connection kits
    • multiple overlaps, no overheating risk

  • nVent RAYCHEM series resistance trace heating cable

    nVent RAYCHEM flexible series-resistance heating cables can be used when circuit lengths exceed the ratings of conventional parallel-resistance heating cables and a single power source is needed. Cables are available with one or two conductors for single phase or three phase systems. The resistance conductors are electrically isolated with high-temperature, heavy-wall fluoropolymers; a grounding braid; and a final fluoropolymer jacket. Maximum maintain temperatures to 121°C (250°F) and exposure temperatures of up to 250°C (482°F) are available. Circuit lengths up to 3650 metres (12,000 feet) with one power supply point and voltages up to 600 Vac.

  • nVent RAYCHEM power limiting trace heating cable

    nVent RAYCHEM power limiting heating cables offer higher exposure temperature and higher power output at elevated temperatures. Raychem power-limiting cables are parallel heaters formed by a coiled resistor alloy heating element wrapped around two parallel bus wires. At a fixed distance, the insulation is removed from the alternate bus wires to form a heating zone. Raychem power limiting cable can be used for freeze protection and process temperature maintenance requiring high power output up to 235°C (455°F and/or high temperature exposure up to 260°C (500°F) with power off.

  • nVent RAYCHEM constant wattage trace heating cable

    nVent RAYCHEM constant wattage zone parallel trace heating cables use a resistive alloy heating element wrapped around two parallel bus wires. At fixed distances, the insulation is removed from the bus wires on alternating sides. This distance between contact points forms the heating zone length. The parallel construction allows these cables to be cut to length on site. The unique round construction ensures high flexibility, but typically require more sophisticated control systems and the cable must not be overlapped. Raychem constant wattage parallel trace heating systems offer an economical alternative while maintaining the advantages of cut-to length cables. Because of their constant power output, circuit breaker sizes may be reduced compared to self-regulating trace heating systems. For line lengths of up to 200 m, for maintain temperatures of up to 200°C.
